This classy Mercedes has been a pleasure to own and drive. It lives up to the reputation of solid German engineering, handles incredibly smoothly and will last you for years to come.
The blue-book value of the car is about $6500, but I am only asking $5250, so it is a good deal. If anyone is interested in looking at the car and taking a test drive they can contact Keith either at UW address gilmorek@uw.edu, or k2.gilmore@gmail.com.
The car runs very well. I took it to a mechanic and had some work
done on it when I first bought it 6 months ago, but have not needed to
take it back to the shop for anything other than an oil change since
then. An oil change for this car is about twice as expensive as for
typical cars, but the oil last about twice as long, so it averages
out. The gas millage is in the 20-25 mpg range. Although the millage
is high at 180,000 Mercedes are built to last and the car is not about
to wear out. These cars have strong reliability ratings as you can
confirm from the blue-book review; it shouldn't need any major work
for a long time.
